The process begins with a meeting with the client to review their ideas & concerns on their projects. First meeting usually takes 60-90 minutes depending on size & scope of work on project. During this meeting we spend the time reviewing your home’s electrical panel, HVAC system, plumbing, as well as taking rough measurements of the space. We will ask you the following to better understand your needs:
- What sparked this project?
- What are the end goals of this project?
- What is your estimate timeline?
- What your budget is to invest into your home?
After taking all this information into account, we will provide an estimated cost based on the scope of the work and experience of prior projects.
We will reach out to our team of designers and architects to setup a consultation meeting, if needed. The architect and/or designer will take measurements of job as well as ask questions to get to know you and your ideas for the project. After this meeting, the customer will be sent a design agreement with cost of architect/designer fee for drawings and work that will take place during the design phase.
During our next phase, we focus on the design selection to be picked out and chosen for project. This will consist of meetings for design selection at home or trips to showrooms for product selection. After all products are selected, we will meet again at project location to review selections and new layout if applicable. We will do a walkthrough of the project, answer any questions that are of concern and make any necessary changes to original drawings.
At this time, we are able to give you a final price based upon all design selections.
A deposit payment will be due, based off scope of work to order all designed picked projects, initiate permit process (if applicable), and start construction scheduling.
Project Construction starts with floor protection, dust tent walls, and air scrubber machines to control the environment we are working with in your home. Job will be cleaned up and be presentable every day. You will be able to contact us at any time with any concerns/questions. We will keep you updated each day with via our construction app that will give you access to your own personal portal to the project via mobile phone, tablet, or computer.
There will be a final walkthrough at the completion of the project by the customer and Storti Builders Team to ensure everything is complete and customer is satisfied with work. Permit will be closed out by the township issuing a use and occupancy to habit the space. We will follow up within a few weeks to check in and provide you with warranty and summary of products.
